Description
Coldstream MAX Replacement Filter is a high-performance ceramic cartridge designed to provide continuous, effective, and long-lasting filtration of your drinking water. Coldstream MAX filters over 200 contaminants with a lifespan of up to 10,000 liters of water, thanks to its advanced filtration technology:

Carbon inner core: Filters out chemical contaminants, heavy metals such as lead, pharmaceutical residues, as well as pesticides and herbicides, for cleaner and safer water.

White ceramic inner layer: Provides antibacterial protection and filters particles such as microplastics.

Blue ceramic outer layer: Contains antimicrobial properties that protect against waterborne viruses and other pollutants, adding an extra layer of safety. It also serves as a replacement indicator: when the white ceramic becomes visible, it’s time to replace your filter.
Essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, mineral salts, and electrolytes are preserved throughout the filtration process, ensuring healthier and better-tasting water.
Filtration Performance

Maintenance & Care
When should the filter be replaced?
- Every 5 to 6 months, depending on water quality.
- When the water flow significantly decreases.
- When the filter color changes from blue to white.
- Do not exceed one year of use, even if the flow rate is still good.
Filter cleaning to extend its lifespan
- Unplug and remove the cartridge from the housing.
- Clean the exterior of the filter under cold running water using a clean scouring pad (without soap or chemicals).
- Make sure no water enters the outlet hole of the filter.
- Reinstall the clean cartridge into the housing and tighten the assembly.
- Test the filtered water flow to ensure proper operation.
Cartridge replacement
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the filter.
- Shut off the cold water supply and open the filtered water tap to release pressure.
- Unscrew the filter housing using the provided wrench.
- Empty the residual water from the housing and carefully remove the old cartridge.
- Ensure that the black washers at each end of the old filter are removed.
- Install the new cartridge, placing the supplied washers on each end.
- Reassemble and tighten the housing with the wrench.
- Turn the water back on and let it run for 5 minutes before use.
