The priming buttons are installed on the stem of the Black Berkey elements, inside the upper tank of the system, to prevent water from passing from the upper tank to the lower tank without being filtered.

These are spare parts.

Each pair of Black Berkey elements comes with one priming button per element. If the priming button is damaged, these replacement priming buttons can be used to continue enjoying quality water.
These priming buttons are only intended for use with Black Berkey purification elements. They are used in conjunction with Black Berkey wing bolts.

These Black Berkey priming buttons are sold in pairs.
