Filtration Technology
The ÖKO Level-2 Replacement Filter is based on a multi-layer filtration system that removes a wide range of contaminants through multiple purification steps.
2-Step Filtration Process:
1. Mechanical Filtration:
- The filter membrane is composed of natural mineral fibers (AIOHH pseudoboehmite) and antibacterial ions, microscopically coated with activated carbon.
- Its precisely calibrated pores at 1.25 microns block sediments, impurities, and visible particles.
2. Submicron Filtration:
- When in contact with water, the filter generates a positive electromagnetic field that attracts and captures submicron particles.
- This technology removes invisible contaminants, ensuring deep purification.
These two filtration steps not only remove contaminants but also absorb chemical residues and neutralize unpleasant tastes (chlorine, pesticides, etc.). The water becomes softer, lighter, and more pleasant to drink.
