Description
The Sight Glass Spigot allows you to get an instant reading of how much water is left in the lower chamber of your stainless steel Berkey® system without the need to lift the upper chamber. This means that you’ll never run out of purified drinking water.
The Sight Glass Spigot also prevents users from over-filling the upper chamber and causing water to overflow. If your Berkey’s lower chamber is already half full and you fill the upper chamber to the top, water will continue to filter through the Black Berkey elements even after the lower chamber is full, and water will be forced out of the system where the upper and lower chambers meet.
NOTE: Never fill the upper chamber with more water than the space available in the lower chamber
All parts of the Sight Glass Spigot that touch the Berkey water are made of glass and food grade polypropylene.
