For an even greater level of filtration, pair the ALKA-PH filter cartridge with the optional ALKA-UF ultrafiltration membrane cartridge that attaches to the bottom of the ALKA-PH. The ALKA-UF system leverages this technology to effectively remove a wide range of harmful contaminants, providing cleaner and safer water without stripping away important nutrients.
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a process that pushes water through a series of fine hollow membranes with
tiny pores, typically measuring around 0.01 microns. These small pores act as a barrier, physically blocking contaminants larger than this size, such as bacteria, e-coli, giardia, protozoa, colloids, and suspended solids. At the same time, UF allows essential dissolved minerals and trace elements to pass through, maintaining the water’s beneficial properties.

The AlkaFlow ultrafiltration cartridge filter has a capacity of 1000 liters, so you only need to change the ALKA-UF cartridge with every 3rd ALKA-PH filter change.
