AlkaFlow DUO 10" Replacement Cartridges

These filters are used for the AlkaFlow Duo countertop or undercounter mineral filtration system. They provide a unique combination of media that offer both filtration and natural alkalizing capabilities.

Description

1st Cartridge: 0.5 Micron Carbon Block

• Removes contaminants larger than 0.5 microns in diameterEliminates chlorine and unpleasant tastes and odors
• Removes 99.9% of pathogenic microorganisms such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium
• Removes 98% of soluble lead in water
• Eliminates pesticides and VOCs (volatile organic compounds)
• Meets NSF Standards 42 and 53 for drinking water quality

2nd Cartridge: Mineralizing Filter

• Multi-layer filter that revitalizes the water to enhance its nutritional value for the body
• Contains alkaline minerals (magnesium, coral calcium)
• Increases water pH by 2 to 3 points
• Infuses water with negative ions to make it antioxidant
• Infuses water with infrared energy beneficial to the body
• Contains tourmaline, a semi-precious stone known for its health benefits

Filter lifespan: Approximately 6 months, based on average use of 8 liters per day. Lifespan may vary depending on local water conditions.
