ALKA-UF Filter Upgrade
TAKE YOUR FILTRATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL
For an even greater level of filtration, pair the ALKA-PH filter cartridge with the optional ALKA-UF ultrafiltration membrane cartridge that attaches to the bottom of the ALKA-PH. The ALKA-UF system leverages this technology to effectively remove a wide range of harmful contaminants, providing cleaner and safer water without stripping away important nutrients.
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a process that pushes water through a series of fine hollow membranes with tiny pores, typically measuring around 0.01 microns. These small pores act as a barrier, physically blocking contaminants larger than this size, such as bacteria, e-coli, giardia, protozoa, colloids, and suspended solids. At the same time, UF allows essential dissolved minerals and trace elements to pass through, maintaining the water's beneficial properties.
FILTER LIFETIME
The AlkaFlow ultrafiltration cartridge filter has a capacity of 1000 liters, so you only need to change the ALKA-UF cartridge with every 3rd ALKA-PH filter change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to help you choose with confidence.
The body is borosilicate glass — durable, heat-resistant, and free of plastics.
The lid is bamboo and stainless steel.
The inner filter reservoir is BPA-free SAN plastic, which is food-grade and safe for your water consumption.
The pitcher holds 9 L in total. Of that, 4,75 L is filtered, ready-to-drink water in the lower glass body.
The included ALKA-PH filter targets chlorine, chloramines, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, solvents, trihalomethanes, and sediment. It also enriches the water with calcium, magnesium, and other trace minerals, and raises the pH to produce alkaline water.
Since the ALKA-PH infuses water with minerals, it is advised to give it to children once they're older, as babies and infants' kidneys are still developing and might be sensitive to elevated doses of minerals.
Once they are past infancy, the whole family can enjoy alkaline water! , consectetur adipiscing elit.
The included ALKA-PH filter lasts 360 liters. This comes at roughly 2 months for a household using about 6 L per day. Adjust based on your actual consumption.
Please note that this filter lifetime is indicative: if you live in an area with higher contamination levels, your filters might need to be replaced more frequently. All in all, do not use an ALKA-PH filter for more than 6 months, whether you have reached the 360-liter limit or not.
The ALKA-UF is an optional add-on that attaches to the bottom of the ALKA-PH filter. It adds a second stage of ultrafiltration, blocking bacteria, fine sediments, and microplastics down to 0.01 microns, while still letting beneficial minerals through.
The ALKA-PH alone works well for most tap water. Add the ALKA-UF if you want maximum filtration or if your water source is less reliable.
The ALKA-UF lasts 1,000 litres, about one ALKA-UF per three ALKA-PH replacements.
The ALKA-UF is the ultrafiltration filter designed to work in combination with the ALKA-PH filter. When connected properly, they form a two-stage filtration system inside your AlkaFlow™ Pitcher or Dispenser.
Follow these steps:
- Turn the ALKA-PH filter upside down.
- Take the ALKA-UF and insert it into the bottom of the ALKA-PH filter.
- Twist the two filters clockwise until the ALKA-UF locks securely into place. You should feel a slight resistance when it’s fully connected.
- Install the combined filter unit into the reservoir of your AlkaFlow™ Pitcher or Dispenser as you normally would.
- Run at least one to two full batches of water through the system and discard it. This helps flush out any fine particles and activates the filtration layers.
Yes. If you use the dispenser daily, the filter stays saturated naturally. If it will sit unused for a while, keep enough water in the dispenser to prevent the filter from drying out.
No. Filters accumulate a variety of contaminants that cannot be separated from the filtration media, so they must be disposed of in regular household waste.
