The ALKA-UF system leverages this technology to effectively remove a wide range of harmful contaminants, providing cleaner and safer water without stripping away important nutrients.
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a process that pushes water through a series of fine hollow membranes with
tiny pores, typically measuring around 0.01 microns. These small pores act as a barrier, physically blocking contaminants larger than this size, such as bacteria, e-coli, giardia, protozoa, colloids, and suspended solids. At the same time, UF allows essential dissolved minerals and trace elements to pass through, maintaining the water’s beneficial properties.
FILTER LIFETIME
The AlkaFlow ultrafiltration cartridge filter has a capacity of 1000 liters, so you only need to change the ALKA-UF cartridge with every 3rd ALKA-PH filter change.
