NOTE: To check if your Miracle MAX Plus or MAX Royal ionizer has the PJ-6000 or PJ-8000 internal filter, open the left panel of the unit. If the internal filter box has a unscrewable cover, it is the PJ-6000. If the cartridge does not have a unscrewable lid, then you should order the PJ-8000 internal filter instead.
The PJ-8000 is the internal filter found in MAX and MAX Royale water ionizers manufactured since 2018.
- Made from activated charcoal, PJ-8000 removes chlorine, heavy metals, trihalomethanes (THMs), VOCs, benzene, odours and organic contaminants from municipal water.
- The filter is impregnated with silver to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold inside the filter.
- The synthetic fiber sheath that surrounds the filter protects the ionizer electrodes from the abrasive effect of sediment and particles present in the water.
The PJ-8000 cartridge must be replaced once a year.
